Ilea Fee
Ilea Fee is the first real Reborn baby that I am currently creating. On this page, you can follow the development process of Ilea.
Kit: Ilea by Olga Auer
The blank -08.07.
I received the kit for Ilea on 08.07.2026, but unfortunately, I haven't had time to start working on her yet.
The belly plate is not part of the kit and comes from the Colour Set by once so real.
The first layer - 17.07.
I started on 17.07.2026.
Here I applied the first layer, and a slight texture is already visible.
Unfortunately, I haven't recorded how long I worked on this yet. So I will just estimate the time.

The second layer - 19.07.
On 19.07.2026, I applied the second layer. The skin texture is now very well visible.

Decision about the arms - 19.07.
On 19.07, I decided that I wanted to use different arms for my Ilea, as I would like to have at least one open hand. Therefore, I paused the painting so that the arms would also have the same shade.
On 21.07. the arms arrived. However, I unfortunately had to realise that I don't really like the proportions of the arms. Therefore, I am currently very undecided about how to proceed with Ilea. For now, I have decided to paint all four arms and then decide which ones I will ultimately use.
I have also decided that Ilea will have a twin. For this, I have ordered the kit Mayven by Vivane Aleluia.
The third layer - 22.07.
On 22.07. Ilea then had the third layer applied. I think it's really great how beautiful the skin texture is already visible!

The fourth layer - 23.07.
The fourth layer was then applied on 23.07.

Fancy a bit of colour? - 24.07.
On 24.07. I continued with a bit more colour. I first did a yellow wash and then coloured the mouth cavity and the lips. Now she already looks much more like a baby.

Yellow details - 25.07.
On 25.07. I then added yellow details and corrected the lip colour a bit with the yellow.

Further decisions - 26.07.
On 26.07., I was finally able to receive Elias and found in direct comparison that Ilea's head is significantly larger, even though according to the manufacturer's specifications, she is supposed to be smaller than Elias. I also find that Elias's limbs do not match the size of his head. Therefore, I decided to swap the limbs of the two. This, in turn, means that I have to completely decolour everything and start over. Now one might say that it's a shame about all the work. But I see it completely differently. I think that I am lucky to have already been able to practice a bit and now have a fresh start with Ilea. Additionally, I also had the book Your DIY Reborn Tutorial Book by Annett Klein ordered and am waiting to continue processing until it has arrived.Here you can follow the creation of Elias.
After I decided on a twin, I completely decoloured Ilea and started over. The estimated working time up to that point is about 9:30h.
Decolouring - 06.08.

Blue Wash / Primer - 06.08.
After I had thoroughly decoloured Ilea's head - also with the toothbrush - I started with the primer in the form of the Blue Wash.
In the pictures, you can always see one uncoloured and one coloured part.

Blue shades on belly plate head and one foot - 07.08.
After 24 hours of drying time, the first blue shades could be applied. This brings life directly to the skin!
